UB Libraries Digital Dialogues Series featuring Melanie Sage (School of Social Work)

March 26, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

At this brown-bag lunch in the library series, “Digital Dialogues,” we will hear from Melanie Sage, Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work, who will speak about her work on the perception, application, and best practices of technology and social media in the child welfare setting. Library postdoctoral fellows Heidi Dodson and Rachel Starry will also share an update on an ongoing collaboration between the UB Libraries and the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society, related to the One Community One Book program and the Pan-American Exposition that took place in Buffalo in 1901.

This series highlights ongoing digital scholarship across campus by faculty, staff, and students, bridging the disciplines to spark conversations on creating and using digital tools in higher education, both in and outside of the classroom. The series is hosted by the UB Libraries and organized by Heidi Dodson and Rachel Starry. All are welcome; please join us for the conversation!
