Lecture: Tom Eyers, “Psychoanalyzing Form”

Tom Eyers lecture and seminar posterThe Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Culture is pleased to welcome Dr. Tom Eyers (Duquesne University) to UB for a lecture, “Psychoanalyzing Form,” (introduced by Professor Bill Solomon, UB English).

Professor Eyers is the author of Lacan and the Concept of the Real (Palgrave, 2012) and Post-Rationalism: Psychoanalysis, Epistemology, and Marxism in Post-War France (Bloomsbury, 2013). His most recent book, Speculative Formalism: Literature, Theory, and the Critical Present (Northwestern, 2017), takes up recent debates about formalism and historicity in literary theory and criticism.
