Roundtable: “Henri Pousseur, Michel Butor, and the Music Library Archive.”

This roundtable discussion is to celebrate the opening of John Bewley’s new exhibition on the composer Henri Pousseur, who composed his seminal “Votre Faust” in collaboration with Michel Butor in 1967, when they both had distinguished visiting chairs here at the University at Buffalo. There will also be some solo performances given by UB Music Faculty members of this music as part of this event. This event is part of a series of events that the Department of Music and the Music Library are putting on in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the composition of “Votre Faust,” including a concert later on in the evening.
