> Poetry Contest and Workshop

The University at Buffalo Humanities Institute, in partnership with UB's College of Arts and Sciences, the UB Center for the Arts, WNED's Think Bright, and 88.7FM WBFO, is pleased to present the sixth annual UB Poetry Contest and Poetry Workshop.

The UB Poetry Contest and Poetry Workshop draw upon the highly talented faculty of our English department to offer encouragement and motivation to aspiring poets. Specifically, we encourage high school students from the Buffalo-Niagara region to partake in not only this poetry contest and workshop, but also our Cutting Edge Lecture Series to further explore new realms of knowledge, not only here at the University at Buffalo but in the world.
