There will be a Haudenosaunee Filmmaker Panel discussion after the film screenings with program host and curator Terry Jones (Seneca), Caleb G. Abrams (Seneca), Kahsto’serakwathe Paulette Moore (Mohawk) and Karen Hill (Mohawk).

The Haudenosaunee Micro-Short Film Program will feature a collection of short films created by Haudenosaunee filmmakers from all over Turtle Island. From narrative to documentary, experimental to dance and clay animation, this robust collection of micro-short films exemplifies the breadth of talent of established and emerging Haudenosaunee filmmakers.

The Haudenosaunee Micro-Short Film Program is supported in part by Burchfield Penney Art Center, K Art Gallery and the Buffalo City Council North District and Council Member Joseph Golombek, Jr.

The Haudenosaunee Micro-Short Film Program, which opens the MicroMania Film Festival, is a unique collaboration between SPARK Filmmakers Collaborative, Native Spirit Festival and TornJersey Media.

For those unable to attend this event, a special Video on Demand presentation of the film program will be available to view online from September 4 – 11th for $5. Again, 50% of the ticket price will be shared with participating filmmakers. Purchase your online program pass here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/166587406417.
