Imagining New Media Research Workshop, April 17th, 2016 is a unique opportunity to see and listen to work by numerous local scholars as well as by “Benerva!” (Benjamin Moreno and Minerva Reynosa) digital poets/performers/theorists visiting from Mexico. The workshop seeks to highlight New Media Research at the University at Buffalo, allow ample time for discussion and contemplation of results of the research of participants, and allow us to view New Media research in the context of the “Americas” in the larger sense. The workshop will take place Sunday, April 17th, 1-5 pm at UB as:

The workshop is free and open to the public, who are also warmly encouraged to attend.

“Benerva!” (Benjamin Moreno and Minerva Reynosa), the participants from Mexico, will also present their work in a more formal setting and lecture the next day, Monday, April 18, at 6:30 pm in 112 CFA as part of the Dept. of Media Study’s PLASMA series, an event to which the public is heartily invited to attend.
